1.  Good stuff, Ken. Remind me to ask you how you did it some time.

2.  The style, at least in some cases, reminds me of Millard Sheets a little bit.

3.  I have to say, I'd much rather see the A's in the playoffs than the Angels. Bummer.

4.  I agree with Schteeve. Besides Vlad, the Angels bore me to death. Sorry, Ken; at least the A's claimed the "Heavyweight of the Year" title. I'm stuck following my pathetic Royals play out the string.

5.  My condolences, sir. I was hoping to see the A's pull it off.

Of course, since I was pulling for Oakland, and given my track record with teams I've rooted for in the past, perhaps I owe you apologies as well.

6.  The A's had a far better season than anyone had a right to predict. They should be as proud of this one as any in the past five years. Like the Braves, the A's seem to be able to rebuild without hardly losing a step. I like the Angels (they're a lot of things, but boring isn't one of them), but I admire the A's tremendously.

My suggestion, for what it's worth: Move the team to Sacramento, build a D-backs style retractable dome stadium, and finally get the fanatical fan support the team deserves.
