2.  who is cy young?

3.  I think that you are looking at an ambiguous answer here.

4.  Dagnammit! I cut and pasted the wrong version of the question. I need an editor.

Both Bob and Vishal get the points for this one.

5.  i hope capitalization is not an issue. in case it is, (and since ken can be a stickler sometimes):

Who is Cy Young?

i think there's an argument to be made for mine, since cy's is an untouchable major league record, and mel's is not. but we'll see.

7.  On Jeopardy! they just throw out the question before the show is aired and replace it with a new one in editing.

8.  Now that Subjective's over with, I think I'm going to have to do a limrick after every one of these questions I'm utterly unable to handle. Limrick the first:

Those ones in a row are repeated
Just leaving my noggin depleted
With Ott and then Young
My bell has been rung
I'm totally lost and defeated!

9.  I would defer to vishal in choosing the next category.

Not that there a lot of choices left, but I will let our host decide.

10.  unless bob has been losing points for wrong guesses (which i don't think is the case for normal humbardgy clues), the score should currently be:

for the turnstiles, 5500
bob timmermann, 3100

there are only 2200 points officially left on the board. however, if i recall correctly, there is still one remaining double-up clue. if that's true, then it means bob can still catch him. but i wouldn't want the drama to be over until the end (unless there's going to be a final humbugardy round?)... do i have that right, mr. scorebard?

11.  Ambiguity often confuses
When dealing with powers of twozes
But answers have been found
So Alex, don't compound
Our confusion over who next chooses.

12.  Sorry, been out all day. Since Bob got the first right answer, he should be able to choose, but if Bob wants to defer to Vishal that's fine, too. Therefore, I hereby declare: whichever of the two who chooses to choose first chooses to choose next.

13.  sure, i'll do it.

i'll take "Numb3r5" for 200, alex.

by the way, am i right about the score/double-up/final humbugardy stuff?

14.  I agree with Vishal!

15.  Yes, there's one more double up. Haven't checked the score; pretty busy...I'll update it when you hit the other double up.
